Privacy
Responsible for data protection: Ulla Främke, info@pictoquilt.com.
We collect and process: your email address (for login), your profile settings (language, units), your quilt designs and uploaded images, and information about any PDF patterns you buy (design, export settings and generated files). This data is necessary to provide the service and to let you download your patterns again. The PDF patterns themselves contain fabric requirements, cutting measurements, a color legend and layout diagrams for sewing the quilt top with classical piecing; they do not include quilting or binding services.
Data is stored with InstantDB (database), Cloudflare R2 (file storage for your uploaded images, design previews and generated PDF patterns), and our hosting provider Vercel. These providers may process data in the USA or other regions under appropriate safeguards.
When you buy a pattern, payment is processed via our provider Lemon Squeezy. We do not see or store your full payment details (such as complete credit card numbers). Lemon Squeezy processes this data as an independent controller in order to handle the payment and comply with legal obligations. We receive only the data needed to assign the purchase to your PicToQuilt account (for example email address, pattern purchased, amount, currency and payment status). For details, please see Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy at https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/legal/privacy.
We use this data only to operate PicToQuilt and to fulfil our contract with you. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the contact details in the Imprint.
Details on how we process your data are in our Privacy Policy. Uploads are processed only to create your pattern and are deleted when you delete them or no later than 24 months afterwards, unless we are required to retain them by law.
During the beta we collect usage events (e.g. account created, design generated, PDF downloaded) to improve PicToQuilt. This data is stored in our database and linked to your account; only authorised admins can see aggregated analytics. We do not use cookies for this.
We use only technically necessary storage (e.g. for login session); we do not use analytics or marketing cookies.
If you opt in to email updates, we send occasional product updates (new features, tips) to your registered email address, about once per month. To deliver these emails, we use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH) as our email service provider; your email address is shared with Brevo solely for this purpose. After opting in, you receive a confirmation email (double opt-in). This is voluntary and you can unsubscribe at any time via the Account menu in the app or the unsubscribe link in any email.
